Create Your First Product
Learn how to set up your first software product in LicenPro. Products represent the applications you want to protect and manage with licenses.

Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to Products
From your dashboard, click on "Products" in the left sidebar menu. This central hub shows all applications currently managed by your account.
Primary Details
Click the "Create Product" button in the top right. You'll need to provide:
- Product Name: A unique name for your software.
- Description: A brief summary for your records.
- Company Name: Your organization name.
Configure License Settings
Set the default behavior for this product's licenses:
- Default Type: Perpetual, Trial, or Subscription.
- Max Activations: Number of devices allowed per key.
- Heartbeat: How often the app checks validity online.
Generate RSA Security Keys
Click "Generate RSA Keys". This creates the cryptographic pair used to sign your licenses.
Your Private Key is kept on the LicenPro server to sign licenses. Your application only needs the Public Key embedded in its code for verification.
Save & Initialize
Review your settings and click "Create Product". You'll be redirected to the product dashboard where you can start generating licenses immediately.
